Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant suffered a knee injury while facing off against the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night and was forced to head to the locker room with an apparent knee injury.
Golden State announced that KD will not return to the game due to a hyperextended left knee.
The injury happened only a couple minutes into the game itself.
While this isn’t good news for the Dubs, they still have the grand power of their offense with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Andre Iguodala and rookie Patrick McCaw should be getting more minutes on the floor with Durant out for an undetermined amount of time.
