The Vertical reported that the Orlando Magic have traded power forward Serge Ibaka to the Toronto Raptors for forward Terrence Ross along with a 2017 first-round draft pick this Tuesday morning.
Ibaka has been no stranger to hopping around the league after he was traded from the Oklahoma City Thunder. He joined the Magic during the 2016 offseason. It was believed that the forward would leave Orlando after becoming a free agent this upcoming offseason, so the Magic have been weighing offers from a bunch of different teams until finally reaching an accord with Toronto.
Ross tweeted out his appreciation to the Raptors and to their fan base this morning after the trade was made official:
Toronto thank you for all the memories, thanks to the amazing fans. Couldn't of been drafted to a better city. Thanks to to my team. All luv
