Every year, general managers in the NBA answer 48 different questions about who they consider the best teams, players, coaches, rookies, fan base, and who they believe will win it all in the 2016-17 season (among other questions) via NBA.com.
While all the questions are intriguing in their own right, there’s one that seems to burn on the lips of those who are obsessed with all things basketball related:
Which player would you want taking a shot with the game on the line?
It always seems to come down to which player and survive in devastatingly clutch situations all while remaining cool under pressure. These are the players that usually make or break the game, so it’s really no shocker that Golden State Warriors’ point guard Stephen Curry received 75.9 percent of the votes, followed by LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers (10.3 percent).
Other players who received votes as well: Kyrie Irving (Cleveland Cavaliers), Carmelo Anthony (New York Knicks), Kevin Durant (Golden State Warriors), and James Harden (Houston Rockets).
GMs also went with Curry last year (51.7 percent), so it’s no shocker that they chose the same route this year.
