One of the least probable and wildest NBA trade rumors of the 2016-17 season so far has to be the speculation that a blockbuster trade involving Cleveland Cavaliers’ Kevin Love and New York Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony will most likely go down. The rumor was started by New York Daily News’ writer Frank Isola which included the Cavs, the Knicks, and even the Boston Celtics. However, the rumors seemed to have been put to rest via sources close to the Cavs:
Sources have told me Cavs have no interest in Melo and wouldn't trade Love for him. The Melo to CLE thing ain't happening.

Melo himself as been at the center of some controversial happenings when it comes to New York, including that he’s extremely unhappy with the team itself. Anthony signed a five-year maximum extension back in 2014, but has been incredibly dissatisfied after being shut out of the playoffs last season. Anthony claims he’s committed to the team’s future and refuses to waive his no-trade clause, even to go join the NBA Champion Cavs.
Seem that the rumors were just way to wild to actually be true.
