Dirk Nowitzki’s final seasons in the NBA are upon us and he may be looking for a chance at a title. Nowitzki has officially opted out of his contract and will become a free agent come July 1st.
Nowitzki has been linked to the Golden State Warriors, but no one truly knows where he will end up. Marc Stein of ESPN reports the news:
ESPN sources say that Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki officially opted out of his contract today and will indeed become a free agent July 1

Nowitzki will most likely be most likely be looking for a contending team to join, one that he can win a quick championship before his exit. There are not even a handful of candidates that would fit that description, so the list is likely short.
Where do you think Dirk will land? Will he resign another deal with the Dallas Mavericks or will he join a team with the best chance of a title run? Let us know what you think in the comments.
