It’s only the beginning of preseason and injuries are happening around the NBA. This injury is centered around Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers. The star has reportedly suffered a fractured finger in practice and will not play against the Hornets on Wednesday in Shanghai.
Chris Paul fractured his left index finger in practice Saturday and is not expected to play in Sunday’s preseason game against the Hornets.
The injury is not considered to be serious and Paul will be re-evaluated prior to the Clippers game against the Hornets Wednesday in Shanghai.
The injury in practice is the second to a Clippers guard in China. Austin Rivers is also dealing with a mouth injury he suffered Friday and will likely miss both preseason games in China.
The Clippers will miss CP3 as he recovers from a fractured finger. Kobe Bryant had a similar injury in his ring finger and was able to play through it. Expect Paul back on the court sooner than you would think. The Clippers are all the way out in China where they will display some basketball for the the many fans in Shanghai.
