The 2016-17 NBA season will be the last of Paul Pierce’s stunning career.
The L.A. Clippers forward announced via The Player’s Tribune that his 19th season in the NBA will be his final one while releasing a moving video on Twitter:

Pierce averaged 20.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per game during his career. He spent his first 15 seasons with Boston, nine under head coach Doc Rivers, who then brought Pierce to LA last season.
